Santa!

So we took Hailey to see Santa at the beginning of December at this Christmas festival they were having by our house and it wasn't a very pleasant experience. Hailey was kinda clingy that day and only wanted to be held by mom and dad, so there was no way she was going to let Santa hold her! So we have a picture of me sitting on the ground in front of Santa and Hailey standing in front of me not looking at the camera.

So since that experience, I was really wanting to take her back to try it again. So we finally went again on Christmas Eve so that Hailey could get in her last minute gift requests! :) This experience was alot better! She let Santa hold her and I think we got some pretty cute shots! :) And at the end, Hailey got a cute Christmas book!

Spaghetti!!

Hailey had spaghetti for the first time the other day and loved it! The pictures of her face say enough! :) Here they are..

First Haircut!

So Hailey got her first haircut this weekend! Her hair kept getting in her eyes, so it was time! We took her to this really cute place called, Snip-its. Hailey wasn't really ready to sit in he chair by herself, so she sat in my lap in the chair. Once we did that, she didn't mind that the lady was cutting her hair. She actually had fun! Afterwards, she got a certificate that said she got her first haircut and they gave us locks for us to keep. And they also took a cute picture of the three of us at the salon. At the end, she got a little card that she could push in this machine thing and a prize came out. She got 2 Christmas stickers! :) The lady put her hair in a pony tail with a pink bow and she looked so cute! She has the cutest little bangs now. :) Afterwards we went to a park and took some pictures of her with her new look for our Christmas card. You'll have to wait for your Christmas card, but there's a pic of her from her photo shoot at the end as a preview! :)

Thanksgiving

So I know I've been a little behind with our posts, but I wanted to make sure I posted some pics from Thanksgiving. I also got so excited to post pictures of Hailey's secret that I forgot to post pictures from Thanksgiving! :) We had a great Thanksgiving this year! Hailey was excited that she got to eat the food this year. In the morning, Hailey got to eat homemade banana bread for the first time and she loved it! She couldn't get enough of it. After breakfast we took a walk in this nice park by our house. Hailey loved getting to walk like a big girl! :) And then in the afternoon, she enjoyed her turkey, mashed potatoes and veggies. She especially loved throwing the mashed potatoes on the floor! :) We also had alot of fun seeing our family! Here's some pictures from our day..

Hailey has a secret!!

She's going to be a big sister!!

So as you can see, we have some news! I'm 12 weeks pregnant! So far everything has been going good. I was nauseous at the beginning and I've been really tired, but it's pretty much been normal pregnancy symptoms. I went to the Dr today and I heard the heartbeat, and everything was normal. We're excited to share the news with everyone and we'll keep everyone posted as things go on.

So Sweet!

So last week, Hailey did the sweetest thing! We were in the living room playing. I was laying down and Hailey was standing up. She leaned down and gave me the biggest kiss on my face! It was so cute! These are the little things that make everything we do so worth it! She's been kissing Jay and I more and it makes us melt everytime! Here's some random pictures of Hailey that I thought were cute!

On November 5th, Hailey started walking at daycare! I went to pick up her up at daycare and she took about 10 steps and walked to me at the door! At first she would take about 5-10 steps at a time and she would fall. Since then she's become a pro at walking and has started walking around the house getting into everything!! She also knows how to open our door knobs! This morning she opened the handle to our bedroom and went in to wake up Jay! Our lives are definitely changing! Here's a video of Hailey walking!!

Halloween!

So I know it's now Thanksgiving and Halloween has long passed, but I wanted to make sure I was able to post some pictures from Halloween. It's better late than never, right?! :) We had alot of fun this Halloween! The night before Halloween, we went to a little Halloween event outside of the Chandler Library put on by the City of Chandler. They had little activities for kids, pictures and a costume contest. Steph came with us and was the best picture taker! We entered the costume contest in the family/best group category and personally I think we got jipped! :) I thought we were the most creative, but we got beat out by a family dressed as Beauty and the Beast. Oh well, it was still fun. And after we walked off the stage, people came up to us and gave us compliments and thanked us. :)

On Halloween, we went around to all of our family's houses to show off Hailey in her costume! Hailey made the cutest flower and she didn't even mind wearing her flower hat all day! :) My mom made the costume and she did a great job!! It came out perfect!

The evening of Halloween, we took Hailey trick or treating for the first time, and she had so much fun in her red wagon. We took her around to some of our neighbor's houses and she would get so excited when they would pt more candy in her treat bag! She even went through our next door neighbor's haunter house! (They didn't do the scaring part when she walked through. :)) She even tried to eat the candy through the wrapper. All in all, it was a great day! Here's some pictures from our Halloween adventures!

Pigtails!!

Last week at daycare Hailey wore pigtails in her hair for the first time! They looked so cute! Now that her hair is growing so fast, we can start to do more things with it! :) Here's a couple of pictures of her pigtails..

Pumpkin Patch!

Hi everyone! Sorry it's been a while since I've posted new posts. I've been kinda bad with blogging lately. So, a couple of weeks ago we took Hailey to Schnepf Farms and she got to see her first pumpkin patch! We all had alot of fun! While we were there we took a ride on their train that goes around the whole farm. Hailey loved it and was holding on to the front rails and looking around the whole ride. We also picked out our pumpkins and got some good ones. Hailey got her own little one. :) Here's some cute pictures from our day..

Twelve Month Pictures!!

This week we got back Hailey's twelve month pictures! They came out really good! These ones are our favorites so far! We used our same photographer, Hailee Bowler. She's done all of Hailey's photos so far and we love her work and we love her name! :) This time we got the pictures taken at the Mc Cormick-Stillman Train Park in Scottsdale. While we were getting the pictures done, Hailey and I had got to take a break and take a ride on the train! It was a fun session and we love the pictures!
