The Zoo!

So I recently joined a playgroup on meetup.com. It's a place where I can meet other moms that live close to us who have kids that are similar to Hailey's age. They have alot of great activities planned, but so far they've all been during the weekdays so we haven't been able to go to any of the events yet. Last weekend, there was finally a weekend play date scheduled at the zoo. We've been wanting to go to the zoo the last couple of weekends, so it was perfect! We went to the zoo and met two other moms. They seemed nice and Hailey had fun hanging out and playing with the other kids. One of the kids even shared her cheerios with her! :) The weather was nice and it was nice to get out. All in all it was a fun day! I can't wait until we can go to the next play date! For once, I didn't take alot of pictures, but here are a couple of pictures from our day..

On St Patrick's Day we went out to eat and of course Hailey wore her St Patty's Day green! She looked very cute and we had a fun day!

Spring Training Game!

Last weekend we went to a Spring Training game and saw the Giants and the Brewers! The weather was really nice and it was nice to get out! It was SUPER crowded and I think that it might have been a sell-out. Hailey didn't really like sitting in our seats and there wasn't alot of room for us to stretch out, so we did alot of walking around the stadium. :) It was still alot of fun and we got to see two home-runs from Giant's players.

Happy Valentine's Day!

For Valentine's Day this year we went out to dinner with Hailey and had alot of fun! One of my co-worker's daughter makes hair bows, so she made one for Hailey this year. It came out really cute! She wore it when we went out to dinner and looked really cute! I took alot of pictures of Hailey in her Valentine's Day outfits, so here are a few..

Hailey and I had alot of fun making Valentine's for everyone this year! Hailey got to finger paint and she had alot of fun! Thank goodness the paint was washable because we made a big mess! :) Hailey had red paint all over her and even tried to eat it!

Fun with friends!

Brooke and Ava came to visit in January. We had alot of fun with them while they were here! We got to spend more time with them than normal, which was awesome! The first night, we went out to Grimaldi's for dinner and Jay taught Hailey and Ava how to make rings out of the dough that they gave them to play with. They also learned how to spin the dough in the air. It was hilarious! The next time we hung out, we took the girls to the Phoenix Children's Museum. The girls loved it! There was alot of things for them to do! They especially loved to run through the noodle farm and the car wash where they could ride around on bikes (or where the moms would push them around on the bikes!:)) It was definitely a fun time! The last night we hung out, we met some other ADPi girls at Oregano's. We had to wait a while and the girls were troopers! Hailey was excited that she got to drink out of a big girl cup! :)

All in all, we had an awesome time visiting with Brooke and Ava! We can't wait for their next visit out here and one of these days we'll make back to Minnesota to see them!

Happy New Year!

When Jay was a kid, he used to ring in the New Year by banging on pots and pans with this sister! Jay wanted to carry on the tradition. So before Hailey went to bed on New Year's Eve, she got to ring in the New year by banging on her pot! :) She had alot of fun! Here's a couple of pictures from our festivities..
