Sea World!!

Hailey had alot of fun at her first time at Sea World! We ended up taking a ferry from the hotel to Sea World! It was great! It was a fun boat ride, plus we didn't have to worry about traffic, finding a parking spot or waiting in line to get in!!

While we were there, we saw two shows! We saw the dolphin show and the Shamu show. Hailey loved it when the dolphins and Shamu would do their jumps! She would be people watching when they were under water and doing other tricks, but when they would jump up she would pay attention and couldn't stop staring at them! Before the dolphin show we went to where the dolphins were. We got pretty close to them and Hailey loved it! Her other favorite exhibit was the shark encounter! She loved the end when we went through and the sharks and fish were swimming over our heads! She got very excited! All in all in was a very fun day! We can't wait to take her again when she's a little older!

San Diego!!

Last weekend for the Labor Day weekend, we went to San Diego! We went with Jason's family to celebrate his Grandma's 90th Birthday! It was Hailey's first time in San Diego and she had alot of fun! The first day we hung around the hotel and then went out to dinner, the second day we went to Sea World, and the third day we went on a boat ride on the dingy and had lunch at the Catamaran and played at the beach! That evening we celebrated Grandma Polly's birthday. Unfortunately while we were there, Jason's Grandpa and Hailey got sick. Even though Hailey got a little cough and runny nose, she still had alot of fun and loved looking out at the ocean! Hailey is starting to feel better and we wish Jason's Grandpa a speedy recovery!

Personal Pool!

Hailey got 2 new play pools for her birthday from her Aunt Jaime. We used the turtle one today and had alot of fun! Hailey loved it! It was just the right size for her! I think she could have sat there all day! She had fun splashing around and playing with the turtle head and legs. Water splashes out of the turtle's head when we turn on the water. At first Jay and I thought it was cooler than Hailey did. She was a little scared of it, but then she got the hang of it and would get really excited when we would turn the water on.

Hailey loves wearing my sunglasses! It's so funny to watch her face when I put them on her! She gets so excited! But of course, she always tries to take them off after a couple of minutes to play with them. Here's a couple of cute sunglasses pictures!

Party Time!!

Hailey had alot of fun at her 1st Birthday Party! And so did everyone else!! It was a cupcake theme and Hailey was decked out in her Birthday Girl cupcake dress and cupcake barrette!

Hailey's Cake and Sprinkles!

I made Hailey's birthday cake. It was an applesauce cake with a cream cheese frosting. It turned out pretty good and Hailey seemed to like it! I got cupcakes for the rest of the guests from my favorite bakery, Sprinkles! They were yummy as well! There were some extra batter from Hailey's cake, so I made cupcakes with the extra batter. Hailey brought the extra cupcakes to daycare on Monday to celebrate her Birthday with her friends. The kids liked them as well!

By the end of the day, Mom and Dad were tired, but Hailey was still raring to go! :) Hailey can't wait until her next Birthday!!

ONE!!

We can't believe that Hailey is ONE!! It's so crazy to look back at older photos of Hailey and see how much she's changed! Hailey turned One on the 14th and had her party on the 15th. She had a fun birthday. When she woke up, I serenaded her with 'Happy Birthday', then we played a little with some of her toys and then she took some phone calls from some family wishing her a Happy Birthday. Later on we went to Sprinkles to get cupcakes for her party and to Whole Foods to get ingredients for her cake. When we got back, she ate lunch and then she opened her first birthday gift from Ava. It was the cutest thing watching her open it. She got so excited! :) Then we tried to go swinging but it was too hot, but we did manage to go for a ride in her new birthday wagon! Oh, and there were some naps sprinkled in there, but that's so boring! :) All in all, it was a fun day!
