Big Day!

Hailey had a big day today! While she was at daycare today she started crawling! She was crawling with her arms, but she was moving across the room getting toys that she wanted. The other kids noticed that she was crawling and they went to tell Renee what they saw. Renee didn't see her crawling so she told the kids that she was close but not quite yet. The kids got really mad that she didn't believe them. Hailey was laughing at the whole thing! Finally, Hailey crawled in front of Renee and the kids were vindicated! She crawled a little bit for us tonight, but not very much. She must be saving up to crawl some more tomorrow!

The kids told Renee that she needed to get her camera out and get a video of it. So here's the video that was captured. It's really funny! She looks like a little inch worm! :)

A Week In Review

We've been having alot of fun watching Hailey grow and experience new things! Her newest thing is that she loves to clap. It's the cutest thing! I couldn't wait to post some new pictures of Hailey! :) Here are a few cute ones from this past week..

Mmmm, Avocado!

Hailey had avocado for the first time yesterday. She made a little face after her first bite because it was a new taste, but she seemed to like it. She had it today also. Hopefully it becomes one her favoites foods as it's mine, and we can have avocado parties together! :)

Our Hawaiian Adventures!

We just got back from our vacation in Hawaii! We all had a great time! Hailey has recently accomplished alot of firsts! Right before our trip, Hailey got her first tooth! It's slowly getting bigger and bigger! She also survived her first plane ride! The plane ride went pretty smoothly and Hailey only fussed a couple of times. 

While in Hawaii, she celebrated her first Easter. Hailey got to meet the Easter Bunny, but those pictures didn't turn out so good, so you will all have to use your imagination. :) We did however get alot of cute Easter pictures of Hailey. And She did go through many outfit changes on Easter for all of your enjoyment.

Hailey saw the ocean for the first time and loved it! She couldn't stop staring at the waves! She got her feet wet a couple of times and liked it. However, she didn't really enjoy the big waves that came and splashed her. A couple of times she sat on the beach and enjoyed playing with the sand!

Hailey went swimming for the first time in Hawaii and loved it! After the first time she became a pro and loved just laying back and relaxing in her tube. We went swimming almost everyday we were there. She also loved modeling in her bathing suit! :)

One day we were able to go ziplining at the wettest spot on earth! We had a great time! We went on 7 different zips and 2 of them twice! Where we were zipping is also where they filmed the movie Tropic Thunder, so that was also cool to see where they filmed the movie. While we zipped, Hailey decided to stay back and relax! :)

Grandma Susie made Hailey her very own Hawaiian dress and she's wearing it in the second picture down. On one of the days we took a train ride through a Hawaiian Plantation. We got to get out and feed some wild pigs. Here's Hailey showing her opinin of wild pigs! Classic! :) 

Hailey is very lucky that her first vacation was in Hawaii! We all had a great time and can't wait to go back again! Aloha!
