Party Time!!

Hailey had alot of fun at her 1st Birthday Party! And so did everyone else!! It was a cupcake theme and Hailey was decked out in her Birthday Girl cupcake dress and cupcake barrette!

Hailey's Cake and Sprinkles!

I made Hailey's birthday cake. It was an applesauce cake with a cream cheese frosting. It turned out pretty good and Hailey seemed to like it! I got cupcakes for the rest of the guests from my favorite bakery, Sprinkles! They were yummy as well! There were some extra batter from Hailey's cake, so I made cupcakes with the extra batter. Hailey brought the extra cupcakes to daycare on Monday to celebrate her Birthday with her friends. The kids liked them as well!

By the end of the day, Mom and Dad were tired, but Hailey was still raring to go! :) Hailey can't wait until her next Birthday!!

ONE!!

We can't believe that Hailey is ONE!! It's so crazy to look back at older photos of Hailey and see how much she's changed! Hailey turned One on the 14th and had her party on the 15th. She had a fun birthday. When she woke up, I serenaded her with 'Happy Birthday', then we played a little with some of her toys and then she took some phone calls from some family wishing her a Happy Birthday. Later on we went to Sprinkles to get cupcakes for her party and to Whole Foods to get ingredients for her cake. When we got back, she ate lunch and then she opened her first birthday gift from Ava. It was the cutest thing watching her open it. She got so excited! :) Then we tried to go swinging but it was too hot, but we did manage to go for a ride in her new birthday wagon! Oh, and there were some naps sprinkled in there, but that's so boring! :) All in all, it was a fun day!

Apples, bananas and sippy cups!

This morning I made Hailey something new from one of our baby cookbooks! It came out really good. It's called Apple and Banana Breakfast and it's apples, bananas and oats mixed together and cooked on the stove. Hailey loved it!

Hailey has also been doing really good with her sippy cup! She's been drinking all of her formula from her sippy cup. She's becoming such a big girl! We can't believe she's going to be ONE in 5 days! I've started the countdown- Brooke! :)

New backyard!!

We finally have a backyard!! We're soo excited because we haven't had a backyard for soo long! It's nice to have something to look at from our windows! :) We feel so normal now! It came out very nice and Hailey can't wait to play in it! We got a walkway of pavers done so Hailey can ride her bike and stuff on it!

Silliness..

Hello everyone! It's been a little while since I've checked in. We're all doing well! We've been having alot of fun watch Hailey explore new things! She's moving faster and faster and now she can pull herself up on both of her feet. She stands up everywhere now (while holding on to things). Today she stood up holding on to the fridge. She must have been hungry! :) She's getting really close to standing by herself and pretty soon she'll be walking! Then we'll really be in trouble! :) Hailey also got her 5th tooth yesterday! Yay! :)

Happy Fourth of July!

Hailey had a fun first Fourth of July! She looked so cute in her little, 4th dress! We went over to Sandra's parent's house for the 4th and had fun with Sandra, James, Scott and Cheryl. We all had alot of fun! Hailey loved visiting with everyone and especially loved exploring the house!

We had a good view of the fireworks from Sandra's parent's house. They live on Camelback mountain and we were able to see 6 fireworks shows going at the same time! It was pretty cool! Unfortunately Hailey wasn't able to stay up for the fireworks, but we told her all about them in the morning! :) We spent the night and in the morning Hailey was raring to go and ready to start exploring again!

Mashed Potatoes!!

Hailey had mashed potatoes for the first time yesterday! And thankfully she loved them! She can stay after-all! :) She kept making all kinds of noises when she would eat them and some of them sounded like 'Mmmm'. :) It was pretty funny! Here's a couple of pictures of her eating them.
